Ihave very fond memories of 2012, perhaps because I started building my first fixed-gear bike, which I ordered from a unique custom manufacturer called Dodoici Milan. Unfortunately, the company went bankrupt and closed, but I still have the bike today.
This year, we also took a little trip to Berlin for a party, but unfortunately, we weren’t allowed into the Berghain Panorama Bar.
As Swedes, we strive to live by the principle of “lagom”—a sense of balance and moderation that shapes our outlook on life. We appreciate the value of every culture and believe that diversity enriches our society. This open-mindedness means we welcome new ideas and perspectives, embracing the unique contributions that each person and culture offers. In our everyday lives, this mentality manifests in a genuine respect for others. We take time to listen and learn from different viewpoints, understanding that every community has its own story and wisdom. Whether it’s during a relaxed fika or in a more formal setting, conversations are characterized by a calm, thoughtful exchange where everyone’s voice is heard.
